Here are some fantastic information reports from our Year Three students.
Connor
Siberian Tiger
It has thin brown stripes, scientists think that their stripes help them camouflage themselves in the forest. They have yellow eyes that help reflect light. Their eyes help them see six times better then humans at night.
They jump with their hind legs.
The Siberian Tigers tail is longer than its body. The Siberian Tigers fur can grow up to 21 inches long. It can run more than fifty miles an hour, 10 miles less than a cheetah.
When the tiger is hunting it crouches down then jumps on its prey. When it kills its prey it pulls it down to the water and eats it.

The stripes help make the tigers comouflaged. The tigers eyes are yellow. The tiger’s eyes are six times better at night than humans. Their hind legs are for jumping. Their tails are half the size of their body. The tiger’s fur can get up to 21 inches long.
The Siberian Tiger is a very skillful hunter. When the tiger stops for prey it crouches into the grass. When they get close enough they jump for the prey and then they drag they prey then they eat it.
